Small win

So last night, i decided to play scabbed skin ( a private tournament on full tilt poker ) because i won it last week and felt i had a title to defend

I had just gotten my pokersourceonline chips earlier yesterday, and decided it would be fun (ie hell) trying to keep a stack of chips in front of me equal to what i had in the tournament

However, an hour and a half or so in, ante's started and i there was no way i could keep up with antes and quick moving blinds

I ended up winning the tournament, but not without a few scary hands
My 2 pr lost to top pair who paired the board on the river for higher 2 pr

My set of 6's got all the chips in against someone who played 58os and flopped the nut straight.... then the board came running 5/8 to chop

KK held up against 99 and AJ (thank god)

It was a crazy tournament, but it was a nice 35$ win on full tilt that i long have needed

Full tilt Balance : 80$ (i played a 5$ tournament and let one of my RL friends bum 5$ because i was feeling nice)

Paradise Poker, home of the donk

Ive been playing on paradise poker now. 100$ deposit and 25$ bonus on completion of 300 raked hands. (10$ per 100 hands) I had to play 750 raked hands however for the pokersourceonline promotion, so i had to grind it out a bit

I HATE THIS POKERROOM

This poker room was the worst i've done so far i think. The site itself isnt bad... the tables are always going... and i can play 3 tables there without much trouble... however the problem i had was that the players there were so terrible... my made hands always got sucked out on, and my huge draws in huge pots never would come through.

I cleared the 25$ bonus, played 750 hands and only have 76.50$ left over. I can attribute some of this to bad calls, and being in hands that i shouldnt have been in... but i definately hit a string of bad luck on this site. At first i was so angry about this, but the more i think about it... 23.50$ loss is not that major and considering how i ran on some of the other sites, i can handle it very easily. I just hope to be able to continue my good luck on my next site i play on.

Oh, and one small thing i dislike about this site... they dont chop pots to the nearest cent, they do it to the nearest quarter... so a pot of 7.75 will award 4$ to the high hand and 3.75$ to the low hand... just a little thing but it probably adds up none the less, especially at higher limits.

Paradise Poker : 100$ to 76.50$ = -23.50

Total money :: 300$ profit - 23.50 = approx 266.50 profit

Welcome

I decided that i was going to create a poker blog in order to keep track of my winnings from poker

Lately, i have been visiting http://www.pokersourceonline.com and doing their promos to get some awesome stuff for free just by playing some poker

Ive been playing 50/1 and 1/2 omaha hi/lo limit. This game is soft because people don't know what they are doing and i have a good grasp on it.

If anyone who sees this decides that they might want to try it, use my referral code atreyu27.

First, i decided to try absolute poker. Their requirements are only 300 raked hands, and every 100 raked hands you get a 10$ bonus, so i decided this would be a great site to start at.

After my 300 raked hands, and depositing 100 dollars , i cashed out with a total of $146.44 . I also am recieving two 500 pc chipsets in the mail for doing this promotion

Next i started pacific poker and partypoker simultaneously. Pacific only lets you one table, while party you can play many... so i decided to do both at once. I signed up for partypoker using their Instant Bankroll promotion http://www.instantbankroll.com (free 75$ and 25$ more once you hit 500 hands)

Pacific i just finished the promotion and have $186.72 in my account from the 100 i deposited. Now, to cash out a bonus pacific requires you wager 20x the amount of the bonus (25) before doing so. So since i cleared their 300 raked hand bonus with only putting 400$ or so into pots, i need to keep wagering a bit before i can cash it out...

Partypoker on the other hand, I just finished the 500 raked hands, and got the 25$ bonus. My bankroll on partypoker is up to $143.86 (note this is ALL profit since i didnt have to pay anything to start this)

I'm not sure which pokerroom i am going to do next, but i am leaning towards paradise poker. Hopefully i will have the same success there

My balance on Jetset poker is approx. 60$ and my balance on full tilt poker is about 60$ too

Totals

Full Tilt : 60
Jetset : 60
Absolute : 146.44
PartyPoker : 143.86
PacificPoker : 186.72

Grand total : 597.02 - 100dollar start up cost (money i put into absolute) = 497.02 $ profit

Over the course of the last 6 months i have put about 200$ onto various poker sites i think, so my total net profit is closer to 300$... but still not bad at all!!!
